I am sure that the nurses at the Muskogee Regional Medical Center must have thought it was a "father for the first time, a novice father inexperienced because I was outside the hospital, nursery, looking out the window to my newborn baby (Haylee) for more than an hour. In fact, a nurse came to me know that it is normal for newborns to mourn, and mourn the nurses were leaving for their own good. "Crying clears mucus from the lungs unwanted" he said. I thought it was unintended mucus, but I tell you.
I figured they assumed it was just a worry, fear, new parents overwhelmed. Or maybe he thought that I did not trust them to do their job. But I had confidence. And I was worrying more than a father. Haylee was my third and last child (so I thought at the time). And because I thought it would be the last, I do not want to miss even a moment. So I was there, taking it all in. .. enjoy a moment that is too pure for words to describe.
And that's when it hit me! In the same way that I was in fear of more recent creation of God, just as I was just taking everything in silence God wants us to stay in the fear of God. He wants our worship Him should not be taken lightly. He wants us to realize what we have: a powerful and majestic God Who is big enough to manage our growth requirements, but is close enough to hear our cries softer. James 4:8 teaches us: "Come God, and He will draw near to you. "
God is ready for us to come to Him in worship so that He may pour blessings that surpass our dreams. He's hoping we get closer. And like the father of young people through the glass interconnection of her newborn baby, can not wait for God to hold us in his arms. After all, the treasures of his time with us. And He wants us to value our time with him … on the cult … just taking it all in.
